Description
Masala dosa is a thin, crispy crepe made from a fermented rice and urad dal (black gram lentil) batter. The word “masala” in its name refers to the spiced potato filling that is stuffed inside the dosa.
Masala dosa is served with coconut chutney (made from grated coconut, green chilies, and other ingredients) and sambar (a flavorful South Indian lentil-based stew with vegetables and spices).
